This frame is one of two I created for a customer in Whitefish, Montana. Blue Board is considered a nice touch when using a rustic look to decorate your room. According to Southernpine.com "Blue board is given its distintive color by certain dark-colored microscopic fungi which causes a bluish or grayish discoloration in the sapwood of the tree. However, not all blue stains are blue. Common stain shades can be blue to bluish black or gray to brown. Sometimes, the stain coloration in lumber may appear as red, yellow, orange, or purple."

This is the second frame of the blue board picture frame set. The photograph was taken by the person who ordered the frames. It was taken in the North Fork area of Glacier National Park on a trail around Bowman Lake. The critter in the picture is a Pine Martin
