There are many things to consider when ordering or designing a custom product. The followine are a few suggestions.

Decide the type of project

Decide the size of your project

Depending on where or how you will be using your project could make a difference in how big or small it is. Determine how big you want it. Size does matter.

Choose the type of wood
You need to specify the type of wood you want on your project.

Bamboo

Choose the finish

hand rubbed oil
satin polyurethane
semi-gloss polyurethane
gloss polyurethane

Decide if you want a custom shape
Using a Shopbot CNC router system, I can create just about any shape that you might dream up. This can be for cribbage boards or cutting boards. See examples

Decide if you want custom lettering, photos, or logos to be lasered on project
Using a Epilog laser machine, I can engrave whatever you want into the wood. Have a special photo or quote? I can laser engrave it. Keep in mind if it is a copywrited image or logo written permission must be obtained from the owner. See examples

Decide the wood surface
I will need to know if you prefer the wood surface:

left natural showing the grain pattern
enhanced the color of the wood using a stain
